​There are multiple groups that you can participate in to be involved in decision-making at Roosevelt High School.

School Site Council (SSC)

The RHS School Site Council meets (time & location TBD due to current schedule) on the following dates for the 2020-2021 school year:

  • Tuesday, October 6th
  • Tuesday, Decmber 1st
  • Tuesday, February 2nd
  • Tuesday, March 2nd
  • Tuesday, March 16th

  
We currently have three (3) openings for parents who wish to be elected and serve as voting members on the School Site Council:

All parents and community members are welcome to attend School Site Council meetings.

English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)

The RHS English Learner Advisory Committee meets the four times during the school year (time & location TBD due to the current schedule), to discuss the needs and supports of our English Learner students. The meeting dates for the 2019-2020 school year are:

  • Tuesday, October 6th
  • Tuesday, December 1st
  • Tuesday, February 2nd
  • Tuesday, March 2nd

Friends of Roosevelt School of the Arts (FRSA)

This is a non-profit organization of dedicated Parent/Alumni/Community Members that support and promote all programs related to Roosevelt School of the Arts.  In addition to volunteering at RSA events, each year, FRSA raises funds to provide scholarships to deserving students to further their pursuit of an interest in their individual disciplines.

Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm in the RSA Choir Room.
